What is the Dive Into Dance Intensive?
The Nantucket Dive Into Dance Intensive offers an unforgettable blend of artistic growth and summer fun for youth aged 8-18 in the week preceding the Dance Festival. Dancers can opt to participate in a full-week dance residency highlighting multiple dance styles or drop-in workshops if they are unable to commit to the entire week.
Teachers
Our teachers inspire our youth and create the spirit and culture we aim to amplify in the studio and on stage. This summer, Laura Kaufman & Robenson Mathurin will lead students through the week in styles that span ballet, theater, Haitian, modern and jazz. Learn more about their background on our Artist page!

Performance
This intensive goes beyond basic classes to provide students with the experience of bringing a production to life alongside professional dancers in a supportive learning environment. Dancers will be part of a final performance on the Nantucket Performing Arts Center stage for a live audience of family and friends.
Registration
Open to dancers aged 8-18, previous dance experience is suggested but not required. All students are able to apply for scholarship funds, so every child who wants to dance has the opportunity to participate.
